During my tenure as Expedition magazine's head editor I had the opportunity to work with and create many volumes, some eclectic and some theme-based. I additionally worked on book projects with the publication department at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. Working as an editor, on both magazines and books, has greatly enhanced my skills as a writer as well as given me a deeper appreciation for the demands, deadlines, and juggling acts of editors. I keep this in mind when working with them, toward doing what I can to make their jobs easier.
